Logo design for my personal brand

Colt is my middle name, it seemed natural to use this as a logo for my design work.

I am a huge fan of brush lettering and mixing that with bold colours always looks great. Personal branding, for a designer, is super difficult. But, I think I’ve managed to design a logotype that shows what I am about – free-flowing, connected and bold. I also like that it serves as a signature.

Like with most logos, I started by drawing a few ideas and I managed to nail a form I really liked. From here it’s a cleanup job and vector conversion ready for use.
